{"id":1852,"date":"2020-10-15T12:35:38","date_gmt":"2020-10-15T12:35:38","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/tudependencia.com\/?p=1136"},"modified":"2024-04-09T12:08:48","modified_gmt":"2024-04-09T12:08:48","slug":"alimentar-a-personas-mayores","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/andalbrok.es\/tudependencia\/alimentar-a-personas-mayores\/","title":{"rendered":"Consejos para alimentar a personas mayores."},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Vamos a compartir con vosotros consejos para alimentar a personas mayores debido a que cada<strong> 16 de octubre<\/strong> tiene lugar la celebraci\u00f3n del<strong> D\u00eda Mundial de la Alimentaci\u00f3n<\/strong>, una fecha promovida desde la <strong><a class=\"enlace-texto\" href=\"http:\/\/www.fao.org\/home\/es\/\" rel=\"follow nofollow noopener\" target=\"_blank\">FAO<\/a><\/strong> con dos claros objetivos, concienciar a la poblaci\u00f3n sobre el problema de<strong> acabar con el hambre<\/strong> en el mundo, y<strong> educar en un estilo de vida sano<\/strong> basado en una dieta nutritiva y equilibrada.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Por nuestra parte, hemos querido unirnos a esta celebraci\u00f3n prestando atenci\u00f3n en las <strong>personas mayores<\/strong>. Una dieta basada en el consumo de alimentos con poco o escaso valor nutricional puede derivar en <strong>complicaciones de salud<\/strong>, la aparici\u00f3n de diversas enfermedades, aceleraci\u00f3n del deterioro cognitivo o f\u00edsico, anemias, etc.\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adem\u00e1s, a medida que una persona envejece, esta requiere una <strong>menor cantidad de energ\u00eda<\/strong> y, por lo tanto, comer menos. Pero no por ello recibir menos <strong>nutrientes b\u00e1sicos<\/strong> que cumplan y regulen sus funciones vitales.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Tips para alimentar a personas mayores<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A continuaci\u00f3n, recopilamos algunos <strong>consejos b\u00e1sicos<\/strong> sobre la nutrici\u00f3n en personas de mayor edad:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Realizar las <strong>cinco comidas recomendadas<\/strong> del d\u00eda, haciendo hincapi\u00e9 en el desayuno.<\/li><li><strong>Comer despacio,<\/strong> masticando los alimentos con cuidado para evitar la <a class=\"enlace-texto\" href=\"https:\/\/andalbrok.es\/tudependencia\/alimentar-a-personas-mayores\">disfagia.<\/a><\/li><li>Reducir el consumo de alimentos<strong> con grasas saturadas<\/strong>, carnes rojas y embutidos, para aumentar aquellos <strong>con grasas vegetales<\/strong> (aceite de oliva) y \u00e1cidos esenciales, omega-3 y 6, presentes por ejemplos en pescados azules.<\/li><li>Fomentar el consumo de <strong>calcio<\/strong> tomando leche y derivados, pero desnatados o semidesnatados.<\/li><li>Aumentar el consumo de <strong>frutas, verduras, legumbres y cereales<\/strong>, grandes fuentes de vitaminas, minerales y fibra.<\/li><li>Limitar <strong>dulces, azucares, sal<\/strong> y evitar alimentos precocinados o envasados.<\/li><li><a class=\"enlace-texto\" href=\"https:\/\/andalbrok.es\/tudependencia\/deshidratacion-en-personas-mayores\/\"><strong>Beber agua<\/strong><\/a> a lo largo de todo el d\u00eda.<\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Los expertos afirman que la <strong>dieta mediterr\u00e1nea<\/strong>, caracterizada por un alto consumo de productos vegetales, pan y cereales, aceite de oliva, vinagre y vino en cantidades moderadas, es la <strong>m\u00e1s recomendada<\/strong> para llevar a cabo una alimentaci\u00f3n equilibrada y saludable, la cual, debe
